Monday Ramblings

It is cold on this Monday morning in Texas. The boy and I are staying inside by the crackling fire while the sisters are at school. Oh, wait. Our fire really doesn't "crackle." Us city folks use those fake logs. I love them, though. So easy to light. It puts off a pretty glow and some great heat. I grew up with a "real" fireplace...in a 100 year old house...in the country on 6 acres. I really am a country girl at heart! :)
Anyway...hope you are staying warm and cozy on this Monday morning. We have our pastors kids Christmas party tonight. It all takes place outside. Just picture...a Christmas tree farm, hayrides, hot dogs, s'mores, presents, and about 50+ kids. The kids L-O-V-E it and look forward to it every year. Brrrrr.....is all I can think about. :) Seriously, though, we are blessed to be part of a church that loves our children so much.

What do you have planned for your Monday?

You all sat by the fire today, and Nanny went swimming (in a heated pool). We're off to watch the big boy in "The Nutcracker" tonight. Love these grandchildren's Christmas activities!
Love you all, Nanny

Callie just made me tired.

I will not divulge what I DIDN'T do today!

I wish we could light a fire. Caroline FLIPS OUT every time and makes us turn it off.
