Griswold Staff Christmas

There is an couple in our church who blesses all of the pastors and their wives, with a fabulous Christmas party in their home every year. I have loved every one of them! But, this year was probably my most favorite. It was SO much fun! The theme was "Griswold Family Christmas". If you haven't seen the movie, then you probably won't understand a bit of the pictures you are about to see. But, if you have, feel free to laugh just a little. :)

No Griswold party is complete without tacky sweaters and moose cups.

Chris and Conn have been on staff together at our church since 1997. But, they have been real friends practically since the day they were born.
Conn, Me, Steph, Chris

Conn, Denny (the host) a.k.a Clark Griswold, Chris

Yes, that is a "fox" wrapped around his neck. Ha!
Joni and John

There was tons of entertainment and the whole night was thought out to a "T". We went outdoors so Clark could show off his beautiful Christmas lights.

There were sparks that flew, smoke that filtered through the air, and even a Christmas tree that went up in flames. It was so great!

Cousin Eddie and his wife Catherine showed up to crash the party. :)

After the entertainment, we enjoyed a live concert in the back yard, took funny pictures in the photo booth, ate some great food, and went a little crazy in the room that was filled with nothing but candy. Pretty sure that was my favorite part. Ha!

As party favors, the guys were given 3 jars of jelly from the Jelly of the Month Club and the girls were given a beautiful watch. It was such a fun night. We're already talking about next year!

I'm so thankful that God has blessed you and Conn with such a great church to serve at and great friends and staff!!! I believe God is smiling when a bunch of believers can gather together and have such a fun time!! My favorite pic would be the one where Conn "shows" up behind all the guests at the tables! His face is priceless!!!
You are truly Blessed!!

Sad to say....I recognized EVERYONE of the characters and could quote more than a few of their lines!! Cute idea and what a precious couple who share with you and the staff in such a generous way! You are more than blessed! (even if you have to do 4000 services each Sunday and 20,000 on Easter!) Helps to know that you are appreciated.

Love the last few posts but never sat still long enough to comment. KNOW that I always read and I always HAVE a comment! ha! Love you and your sweet family....should be you in both of the "toothless" pictures!!!! It was really only yesterday.....
