Before the kids got out last week for Christmas break, they had numerous activities at their schools.
Cash and Maggie had a Christmas performance. This was Maggie's 3rd time to do this and it was Cash's 1st. I love it more and more every year. So stinking adorable! Love it!
Cash's class went first. They "sang" Away in a Manger (hand motions and all) and Jingle Bells (rang little bells). He did absolutely perfect. He waved to us while they were walking in and yelled out a lot of...Hi, PawPaw's and Hi, Daddy's! He followed his class all the way down and took a seat on the steps. It amazes me what teachers can do with 2 year old's.
Maggie's class played hand bells and sang Joy to the World. For the hand bells, they would read color cards and play when they saw the color that matched their hand bells. Like I said, it amazes me what these teachers can teach a bunch of rowdy kids. You could actually tell what song they were playing and it sounded perfectly. Those 20, 4 year old's, never missed a beat.
They were so serious about playing the hand bells.
"J-O--Y to the W-O-R-L-D!"
Her last pre-school Christmas performance. Bring on Kindergarten!
Nanny and PawPaw
The next day, Conn and I, headed to Lily's school for her class Christmas party. It was packed full of fun. So much fun, that when I asked her if she wanted to go home early she replied with a big fat, "NO!" Ha!
They did a book exchange. The book that she won, she gave to an older kid on the bus. When I asked her why, she said, "Because they asked me if they could have it. So, I gave it to them." Oh, geez!
Sweet friend, Brynn, in matching shirts.
They decorated cookies.
Loving her daddy.
Loving her momma.
I feel so fortunate that Conn and I are both able to attend our kids school activities. I know that there are so many parents out there that aren't able to do that. It is something that Conn and I will never take for granted. I love that they love having us there, too. Well, for now anyway. :)

Adorable...as always!
I hope y'all have a wonderful Christmas!
Teachers have an amazing ability in controlling the group of children. Incredibly had to play the sound of hand bells. I once heard as a band played different songs on the rings. It was quite amazing.
I also love the presentation of different occasions, both those now exhibited in the school, as well as earlier in the nursery. Always be moved by. Even remember my first show as Eve, even went to the nursery:)
And by the way - always admire what a wonderful bows to your daughter stuck in her hair:)
Happy Christmas holidays.
