Surfside Beach

Yesterday, we took the girls down to Surfside beach near Galveston. We had never been to Surfside (both growing up in Houston), and it was wonderful. Well, as wonderful as the beaches in Galveston can get. :) My dad is remodeling a beach house down there, so we decided to go hang out for the day. The weather and the beach were both so perfect. We could not have asked for a better day to go on. If you ever want to spend a day at the beach, I say go to Surfside. Not much to do in the town, except some local burger joints and a yummy seafood place, but the beaches are very clean, not crowded and family friendly.
