If you were a Southern Baptist child of the 80's, then you probably grew up with the big blue book, Psalty. He had a song called "We're Going Camping Now". I have sang it to my girls since they were born. Well, they finally got to experience it...sort of. On Saturday, the girls and I drove to Wolf Creek Park on Lake Livingston, to meet up with our friends the Young's and the Jett's. They were camping there all weekend. Conn had another wedding, so he wasn't able to go and I didn't want to take the girls for the whole weekend all by myself. I totally should have though, b/c they LOVED every bit of it and did great!!! We hung out all day Saturday. The girls played at the campsite for hours, we went swimming in the lake, played at the park and of course had to go get snow-cones at the "camp store". We will definitely be back - when daddy can go with us! :)
Thanks for having us, Young's and Jett's. We had a WONDERFUL time!!!! Can't wait till next time!

Also...i just bought that zebra tablecloth from walmart. i just bought a couple yards of zebra fabic and used that...is just cost me a few bucks.

"we're gonna climb up the mountain and run and jump and play!" Gosh girl, I TOTALLY remember that play and I remember practicing our songs together - that took me WAY back!! So fun that you sing that to your girls...love it!! Now can we plan a little play group together out there soon?? I miss you!
