Oil Ranch

Lily had her 1st grade field trip this past week. Conn took a day off of work, so we were both able to go with her. It was at the Oil Ranch (a big farm with lots to do.) We had so much fun with our oldest girl and all her buddies! They are so hysterical to watch! Now we know why Lily sometimes acts the way she does or says the things she says. Ha!

fun friends...

daddy's girl...

rope swing...

Lexi was Lily's "partner" all day...

horse rides...

hay maze...

hay ride and feeding the cows...

Yep, we live in Texas...

hay sack swing...

climbing pole to ring the bell...

Such a fun day! So thankful that we are able to spend some one-on-one time with each of our children. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it means the world to them!

Can't believe that next year we will have two in elementary school! Wow!!! Oh, and that means two field trips. Woo-Hoo!

Happy Weekend, everyone! I'll be cheering on my love at his 2nd triathlon! :)

ok, they have so many more fun things than I remember as a kid. That was and still is such a great place! I remember the big rope swing in the barn for sure!

Oil Ranch has been in the Waller area - well, since dirt was invented! And did you know that it's not called "Oil" because of oil???? It's named Oil because those are the initials of the original owner that started Oil Ranch. Otis I. Lewis was his name!!

So glad that you all had such a fun day at the Oil Ranch. It has really grown since I used to take our school children. What a great day! We also had a great day with the other two little loves!
Love you, Nanny
