Conn competed in his 2nd Tri this morning. It was in Kemah, TX (near Galveston). It started at 6:50am, so...we were up at 3am and on the road by 3:45. Yeah, early morning!!! We decided to leave the kids behind this time. It was such a great decision. Even though it was really early, I wasn't going to miss this chance to go and support my man. He ran the race again with his good friend, Justin. I don't know if they will ever do another race without each other. It's kind of their thing now! I love it! They are already mapping out their race season and how they can go about getting sponsored. Ha! They make me laugh. But, I am so glad they have this passion. It is such hard work and a hard race. So proud of them both! Anyway, they both did great and survived! Conn said this Tri was much more enjoyable than last year and he felt so much better this time around after he had finished. Way to go, boys!! Can't wait until the next one! :)
waiting for the swim...
and they're off...
transitioning to bike...
transitioning to run...
They ran the last mile together so that they could finish at the same time. So fun!
done...
Love him.
