Lily-isms

Last night, we took the girls to go eat at IHOP for dinner. Yes, we are weird like that. As we were leaving and walking back out to the car, Lily and I began to have this little conversation:

Lily: "Mommy, what is the name of that restaurant (pointing across the parking lot)?"
Me: "Tortuga."
Lily: "Oh. You know what that means in Spanish, mommy?"
Me: "Ummmm....what?"
Lily: "Turtle."
Me: "Holy cow!"

Conn and I just looked at each other in amazement. I guess all of that Dora and Diego watching is paying off. I don't feel like such a bad mom after all! :)
