We participated in the good ol Texas tradition like we do every year, and took the kids to take pictures in the bluebonnets. We had to drive about 40 min away to find a decent field, but we finally did. The weather was gorgeous and almost too sunny to be taking pictures. We waited until about 6pm for the sun to set a bit, but it was still so bright. We did the best we could. The kids really weren't into it...even with tons of bribes. They did fine when it was just them sitting by themselves. But a group shot was another story! We finally called it quits after about 140 (fast) pics that only took about a total of 10 min! When I was editing the pictures, I was laughing so hard. So many of them perfectly describe our crazy life right now! Oh, well! All about the memories...right?! :)

Precious ones! I love Maggie Mae's blue smile.
bluebonnet pictures definitely deserve blue ice cream...I hope you enjoyed some too...because as the mom, I know how hard it is to wrangle kids for pics.
I love how Cash is smiling in everyone of them. He must have really wanted ice cream.
Those blue lips match their blue eyes except for one guy! Precious pics! Love you, Nanny

Lily is sure looking grownup!! I think all the pics turned out great!! Beautiful babies!!!! Love Love Love!!
How beautiful! I remember my parents taking us to take pictures by the California poppies. I think the bluebells are muc prettier, and you did such a good job by dressing them for the pictures!
