First of Many

Lily loved her first Field Day! She has such a great day! Conn asked her that morning before school, if she was going to win a ribbon. She had this confused look on her face and said, "What are you talking about?" HA! He began to explain to her what it means to win a ribbon and what each color represents. He told stories about his field days growing up and how he won the BLUE... 1st place ribbon, for the old clothes relay! If you know Conn, you know that he totally demonstrated the whole thing for her and acted it out. HAHA!! She thought that was so funny! Anyway, Lily, went on to tell her daddy that there were NO ribbons being handed out because all of the games were fair and everyone was considered a winner. What? Are you serious? She was serious! Conn, just rolled his eyes and said, "Are you kidding me? What's the fun in that?" HA!!

Well, even though there were no ribbons being handed out, we still went and supported our girl! It was so fun to watch all of the kids! They loved it SO much! Oh, just so you know, Lily and her friend Gavin, totally rocked it in the wheel barrow race! They owned the 1st place spot and that blue ribbon! HA! :)
