Let Me Introduce You...

As I come across blogs, I notice that most of my "blog friends", I know very little about. I see their pictures and read snippets of their lives, but who are they really? Where are they from, what do they like, did they go to college, where did they go, do they have family, what are their jobs, etc? Most of my readers already know all about the McWhorter crew, but for those of you who are my "new friends", let me introduce us. So glad you are here! Welcome!!

Conn- short, balding, chipper little 35 year old pastor; loves being a husband and daddy; hates eating right and exercising, but realizes that if he doesn't, he'll balloon in hurry; loves to hunt and fly fish with all his buddies; plays a mean guitar and has an incredible voice; wishes that traveling and sleeping could be a real occupation; loves and leads our one-of-a-kind small group; is very close to his younger brother (by 5 years) and his mom and a dad; graduated from Cy-Fair H.S., went to Texas Tech (get your guns up) and got a Masters from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; has been married to his love since May 20, 2000

Lily Belle- 3 1/2 year old blue-eyed ball of energy; loves staying up late and sleeping in (has been known to stay up past 1 a.m); loves playing outside and watching cartoons; absolutely loves gymnastics and singing; favorite place to eat is Sweet Tomatoes (seriously); loves her cousins and her grandparents; everyone is her best friend; has never met a stranger; loves school


Maggie Mae- a 23 month old who tries to do everything her older sister does; has no upper lip (thanks to Daddy's genes); loves her babies, blankets, and pacifiers; biggest and most beautiful blue eyes you have ever seen (thanks to daddy - again); has the temper of an old Irishman stuck in traffic; in her mind, if God were a cartoon, His name would be Dora; can eat more than anyone in the family; has the greatest laugh in the world



Ashley (me)- i am 29 years old and my occupation involves being a full-time wife and mommy; i love traveling (with kids and without); my favorite food is candy (especially sour watermelons and Hairbo gummy bears); i enjoy working out and at one point was training for a 1/2 marathon; addicted to any reality show that deals with modeling; i feel blessed to have so much family that lives close; i secretly wish i could wear heels more (sorry babe); graduated from Tomball H.S., and got a degree in elementary education from Sam Houston State; i love my small group and all my sweet friends that live close and far away; i have 2 older brothers and a mom and a dad; i really want to be pregnant again; i heart Target
