With Conn being at services all weekend long, we celebrated with his parents on Good Friday. It was a beautiful day outside and the kids had the greatest time...so, did the adults. We sat on the back porch most of the day and watched the girls play while Cash took a wonderful nap. Nanny had so many fun activities and crafts planned for the girls! We all love that she taught kindergarten for many, many years! ! She had also bought them these adorable Easter "bonnet" hats to play dress-up in. They LOVED them. We missed my sister-n-law, Wendy, because sweet baby, Max, was at home with the stomach bug. Thank you, Nanny and PawPaw, for such a fun, special day!

On Sunday afternoon, between two of our church services, we we were able to celebrate the Marler family Easter. We went to my parents wonderful neighborhood park! It was such a gorgeous afternoon. My dad grilled out burgers and hot dogs, while the the 5 girl cousins and Cash, played on the playground. We love that park because we always seem to have it to ourselves even though it is inside a huge neighborhood. It was a very laid back time of relaxing and talking. Even though we were SO busy throughout the week and weekend, everything we did, just seemed simple and easy. I don't know if it is the kids ages or what. It was all just so great! We were missing my brother and his family, though, that moved to South Carolina this past summer. Mammy and Pappy had a wonderful egg hunt planned, but we quickly taught them the lesson of why you don't put chocolate in plastic eggs when hunting them in the Texas heat! HA!! The kids baskets were filled to the rim with...cute bathing suits, barbies for the girls, and a golf club set and bat and ball for Cash. Thank you, Mammy and Pappy, for such a wonderful time!!
Thank you, to both of our families, for making our times together such great memories!!

I so wish Max and I could have been there, but it looks like it was a great day! I love the picture of the brothers! I hope to see y'all soon- and I hope Camille didn't get anybody sick.
Low key and relaxing is always the best. Pictures are great. I especially love the one of Cash looking up at Conn. And I had those bonnets when I was little. I have a few pictures with my white had on. I'm pretty sure mine wasn't for dress up...LOL.
Glad you had a good Easter.

Looks like a beautiful day! Always love your pictures. Cannot believe how big Cash looks and of course the girls are just getting more and more beautiful. We really didn't take Easter pictures per se; I guess we forgot in the excitment of changing for Lake Wylie. I have last years...they look almost the same:). Thanks for always keeeping us up-to-date with the kiddos!
