Kemah Tri...Again

The same weekend as Maggie's birthday party, Conn competed in his 4th Triathlon. This was his 2nd time to compete in the Kemah Tri. Of course, I tagged along to cheer him on! I really do love going to all of these events. You would think by now that I would have this deep down desire to take part.  Nope!! Not even an ounce! I'm just fine watching from the sidelines and being the loudest cheerleader possible! Ha!

This is also the 4th one that he and his buddy Justin have done together. Justin is actually competing in the Ironman here in The Woodlands in 2 weeks. Although Conn is not competing, we will be there to cheer Justin on! What a huge accomplishment that is going to be for him!

Once again, so proud of my man! He continues to amaze me!! Especially for almost turning the BIG 4-0!!! ;)

Celebrating Maggie

Maggie turned 6 back on April 19th.  We celebrated BIG time!  After all, SIX is a very big deal! :)

Birthday morning donuts are the best! They look forward to getting woken up with them every year! Never gets old!

She insisted on taking a cookie cake to school! :)

We took her Chick-fil-a for lunch.

She and her cousin, Campbell, share the exact same birthday...one year apart! Super fun!

That night, we took her to dinner at our local Mexican restaurant. She loved the singing, and whip cream in the face is always a bonus! This girl loves her some celebration! Ha!

Finally, we ended her birthday festivities with a party and Build a Bear and a slumber party! This was our first time for both of those! Let me just say, if you've never done a party at Build a Bear, you totally should consider it! It was so amazing and the kids had the greatest time! Each girl came home with their very own bear, and I had shirts back at the house for them to paint for their bears! It was all so much fun!!!

Such a fun, fun time celebrating our girl!!
