32 Weeks

This past Monday, we went to our 32 week appointment and had another ultrasound. It is amazing how much Cash has grown since we saw him at 18 weeks. I mean, I can totally FEEL and SEE him moving inside of me, but seeing him on screen still amazes me even after 3 pregnancies. He waved his hand at us and open and closed his mouth like he was a little fish or something. So cool! We did find out, however, that our little man is breech. I have never had this problem with the girls, so this is all new for us. Dr Strong said he would give me until about 37 weeks until we start making decisions, so we will see. Right now, we are just praying for him to do some sort of a forward roll. :) Also, he seems to be a big ole' boy, and is measuring a week early. I think Cash is already giving us a run for our money. I thought boys were supposed to be easier?! We will keep y'all posted on the weeks to come. For now, here are some pics of our little love.

32 Week Baby Bump (or torpedo...as my mom likes to call it)

******************************************************************
Week Thirty-Two
  • Your baby is up to 3.75 pounds (1702gm) now and is 16.7 inches (42.4cm) long.
  • You might notice she's not moving around as much now. Don't worry! She is fine -- just running short on room. She still has plenty of growing to do though, believe it or not!
  • All five senses are working. Your little one is fascinated and practicing testing these out as much as possible!
  • Toenails are completely formed even though she may not be quite ready for a French manicure.
  • Hair on your infant's head continues to grow in. Will he have dad's black hair or your red hair?
  • Brain scans have shown that babies have periods of dream sleep (REM) starting around the eight month. What do you suppose your son is dreaming about?

Like Mother...Like Daughter

Every time I sit down to use my laptop, I sit in the exact same chair, and put a pillow under it because it gets so dang hot. Have y'all ever noticed that...laptop users? Anyway, Conn walked into the living room the other day, and found Lily doing this (he ran to get the camera, like a good little daddy) ...

Yes, she looks IDENTICAL to me! See my computer sitting on the table? Funny, huh?! Oh, and that is her very own Barbie Laptop that she got to pick out after her 4 year checkup (4 shots and a finger prick - OH MY GOODNESS)!
Love this Lily Belle!

A Chick-fil-A Princess Kind of Night

We were invited by our friends, the Skipper's (who have 2 Chick-fil-A stores), to attend a Princess Night at one of their locations. The girls had so much fun being able to dress-up and go out to eat. They also loved seeing all of the other "princesses" at the restaurant. Thanks so much for inviting us, Jenni and Kendrick. The girls had a blast!!!

Another B-day

Today is the b-day of a very special friend of our family. Her name is Mrs. Janet. :) Janet and her family, have been a part of my life since I was in 9th grade. She was my high school counselor and I began babysitting her kids that same year. Molly was still in diapers and Lindsay was in elementary school. When I met Conn, they took us on a "double date" to approve of him. Janet helped Conn out with our engagement and kept every bit of it from me. When we got married, Lindsay was a bridesmaid in our wedding. Here we are, so many years and memories later, and they are family to us. The girls love Mrs. Janet more than I can describe, and so do we. Thank you for loving us and our girls, like your very own. Thank you for doing so much for our family and being there whenever we may need you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! We hope you have had the most amazing b-day!!! We love you!!!
