Conn's 40th birthday party was so much fun
and everything I had hoped and dreamed for the past year. Yes, I've
been planning it for that long. :)
The
weather could not have been more perfect! We had 60-70 of his closest
friends and family come out to the farm to help us celebrate!
None
of this would have been possible without the help of both sets of our
parents. They are all so gifted and talented in so many areas. So
blessed to have them!
Our
very dear friend, J.B., came out and played some of his music. So good!
He plays tons of gigs around town if you'd ever like to check him out!
Otto,
a square dance caller, came and lead us all in square dance lessons!
Talk about fun! Ha! Watching a bunch of grown adults try to square dance
has got to be one of the funniest things I've experienced in a long
time! Lots of laughter! That's for sure!
No
better way to celebrate a Texas birthday than with fried catfish,
chicken fingers, fried jalapeno poppers, hush puppies, fries and a big
ole glass of sweet tea!
Instead of cake, we had various flavors of pies! Yum!
My heart explodes each time I sit back and think about how many
people love my man!! He means the world to not only us, but to so many
others, as well!
Happy 40th, babe! We love you!
